In August 2026, Ladder Leaders launched a podcast featuring women professionals across various fields, making it easier for high school girls, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to gain insights into higher education and careers ahead. Discussions with athletes Natalie Dau, investors Jyotsna Krishna, psychologists Amber Pradhan, physicians Meena Chhabra, financial experts Simran Chhabra, and businesswomen Pooja Chaudhary shed light on the panellists' educational backgrounds, the professional paths that led to success, and their qualities.
Five career counselling sessions by Ladder Leaders were held from July to August 2026 for 11 high school girls. Aptitude, academic routes, interest, and skills were discussed using the strengths-based profile evaluation rubric. Students were introduced to SWAYAM, Skill India/NSDC, Safaya, and UpGrad, among other platforms. By the end of the sessions, they had identified their aspirations and broken them down into actionable steps. In the last session, cancer survivor and actor Sonali Bendre shared her story, inspiring the participants to pursue their dreams.
Ladder Leaders worked in collaboration with Angel Xpress in July 2026 and started an initiative on Milaap, with an objective of INR 75,000 to provide access to knowledge resources for children from underprivileged sections. However, the fundraiser far exceeded its goal amount and was able to raise INR 3,36,551.
All these initiatives are geared towards making knowledge about careers, mentoring, and education available to young adults, helping them make informed choices for themselves.
